By Herman Santa/Carlos Bonet

Since 1992, The Spanish American Club, Inc. (SACI) has been celebrating Halloween and has been known as SACI Haunting Halloween Party.   The annual Halloween event hosted by the members of the club was celebrated Saturday, Oct. 26th at the Disabled American Veterans Hall in Port St. Lucie.

Members were great with their costumes. It was very difficult for the judges to make a decision for winners of the contest for best female and male costumes. From horror to beauty, it was all there.

Our members continue to show why our club is “the club” to be part of. Although we are a private club, due to security concerns, we do accept solicitations for participation from the general public. We are sure that after you attend one of our events you will probably decide to  become members of this fantastic club. These people sure know what it means to live your life.

Celebrating October birthdays were Josie Guadalupe, María Ferri, Helena Andrade, Dick Diamond, Fidelino Casallas, Francis Mata and Frank Megaro.  Door prize winners were Carlos Lopez, Fidelino Casallas, Estela Páez, Frank Megaro, Eduardo Parra and Yvonne Bonet.  The 50/ 50 raffle winners were David Ramos and José Garcia.  Best Halloween costume winners were María Garcia and Domingo Sanchez.
